Look of the day- Easy weekend!

Comfortable clothing was all I was looking for this weekend. I put on this waist clinched mini dress from Elizabeth Donatein and these adorable neon pink ballet flats from Alcott. The look was fairly simple to put together.

I kept my hair and makeup absolutely simple to blend with the weekend's mood. Since both pink and horizontal stripes are big trends for the summer, I decided to mix the two to create this outfit. An all over striped dress will draw focus on my lower body, so I chose one which cut the stripes at the waist and continues with an all over black. The monster sleeves help in evening out the ratio between my shoulder and hip.

A simple black bag is always a good bet when you do not know what else to carry. A burst of colour is almost compulsory for this outfit, which was completed with ballet flats in a happy blush colour.

This look works best for hourglass bodies. Athletic builts with broad shoulders should steer clear of the exaggerated sleeves and opt for the tank dress with a tulip skirt, to add girth to the lower body, while showing off toned shoulders. Stripes till the waist can be worn well by those with pear bodies, since the horizontals on your torso will create an illusion of a narrower bottom. The look is effortlessly fun to relax on a summer afternoon.
