True Blue

Drapes are a good way to go if you are conscious about your midriff. A cowl neck, draped all the way the hemline is the best trend for women with apple-shaped bodies. It shows off the shoulders, conceals the problem areas cleverly, and then the black jeggings do the magic on the legs. You can find this top in inky blue, as well as a neon coral in Vero Moda. The jeggings are available throughout the year in Pepe Jeans. You can also opt for a pair of leather tights or strirrup pants with sparkly or plain patent leather peep toes.

If you have been keeping up with my blog, you already know that I am a big fan of jewellery, especially in antique gold. Well the good news is, chunky pieces of bronzed or faded gold is one of the biggest accessory trends of Spring 2012. You can pick up this ring in Splash and the earrings are from Shopper's Stop.

The shortcoming of this look is the fact that it cannot be worn by women with pear bodies, since it will hide their waist and create an illusion of a protruding hip. However, try finding a similar top in a longer length and use a leather, waist-clinching belt to highlight the best parts of your body. Get high on statement jewels and wear this look with lots of confidence.

  1. I always thought black was the perfect color to hide my healthy figure...but blue looks nice, elegant and the ensemble also looks funky. Like the info about accessories and stores. Well equipped fashion tips. I like :)
